As any returning student knows, Halloween at Nobles is more than a holiday—it is a challenge of creativity and style. Some diehard competitors have been scheming away at their costumes since arriving on campus in September. But of course, not all of us can be quite that prepared. If push comes to shove and October 28 sneaks up, leaving you still sorely lacking in costume ideas, try some of these to wow and inspire.
The resurgence of Y2K fashion provides students with a valuable opportunity to combine style trends with iconic school symbols. Who among us has not enjoyed an ice-cold chocolate milk after a strenuous practice? It is high time someone pays tribute to the invaluable Cafe 2000 down at the Morrison Athletic Center (MAC) with a costume. Bonus points for genius wordplay (if I do say so myself.)

Pay homage to everyone’s favorite Editor-in-Chief by dressing up as Sanghavi this Halloween. This costume is a great way to stay casual and still embrace the school spirit, exemplified perfectly by Sanghavi.

Marking almost a year since chess became cool again with the release of Netflix’s “Queen’s Gambit,” fans could prove their devotion by dressing up as the game of chess itself. Plus, if you lean towards Chess Club over Weiqi Club, there is no better show of loyalty.
